Our company culture is defined by actively searching for diversity on all levels. Our diversity is not only demonstrated by our own team but also by the clients that we work with. Our clientele is composed of brands from different parts of the world, targeting local and international audiences. Our vision is to connect brands with their audiences - it doesn’t matter where either one comes from.
We think that everyone can contribute to a better future one way or another. As a company, we strongly believe that we have a social responsibility to contribute to this better future and act based on our values. For us, one of the most urgent societal issues is the preservation of nature. By supporting the organisation Trees for Life, we constantly contribute to the revitalisation of the wild forest and the provision of space for wildlife to flourish and thrive in the Highlands of Scotland. However, trees take time to grow which is why we generally focus on keeping our own emissions at the absolute minimum.
In addition to our monthly donations to support the revitalisation of the Highlands of Scotland, we reduce our CO2 emissions caused by travelling, to the minimum. We avoid unnecessary business trips and we plant trees to compensate for the exact amount of all our carbon dioxide emissions for the travelling and business trips we do undertake.
We try to create a work environment where our employees are aware of their carbon footprint. Little actions such as creating awareness about our environmental impact, appealing to recycle, walking to the office or having active brainstorm meetings without any electronic devices are small actions in our offices that can already make a difference. Every little thing helps to preserve the environment and that’s the philosophy that we want to pass on to our employees.
Femme Niche was founded by Jenny Stanley in 2018, with the aim of creating a community full of non-judgemental and like-minded women, unafraid to show ambition and go for their dreams. The purpose of our community is to provide a place to meet new people, learn new perspectives and understand yourself better while having fun doing it. It’s about women coming together to support and inspire each other.
Through the content on our website and the social media channels, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn, we aim to spread awareness and empower other women by sharing inspiring stories of women and how they broke through all the barriers standing in their way.
As a community that strives to empower all women, Femme Niche is closely connected to Appetite Creative. Inspired by our female founder and managing director Jenny Stanley, we as a company want to contribute to the elimination of injustices in the working world and create equality between genders. This is also one of the reasons why our company, Appetite Creative, is listed as a Top Women-Owned Branding Company by Clutch.
Microloan Foundation is helping women to help themselves, their goal is to have a lasting impact on the lives of women, children and families in sub-Saharan Africa.
